That I got the room for cheap
Did not fell safe in the area. The area is in a run down neighborhood and was kinda scary

It was disappointing to find a crack pipe. The neighbour was scary.

Greatly enjoyed our neat rooms, plus the staff was polite. Booked a room in a bar fridge & microwave. Its service was PERFECT. Furthermore, we used free parking.

The bed was very comfortable. The staff were quick to change my room as the first room offered was next to a noisy vending machine - The room I was moved to was very nice.
East Orange is not the nicest neighbourhood

I liked that it was surprisingly cheap being so close to the city. Even though it was in a tough part of town I felt that my daughter and I were safe. For the price I'd do it again.
The hotel was in slight disrepair. We had to take the top of the water tank and pull on the chain to silence the toilet. Stains on the carpet. My daughter thought she saw a cockroach. The elevator had.... character.

The man at the counter refunded our money.
The area was very sketchy. The room smelled of mold and the wallpaper was taped to the wall in places because it was falling off. There were people in the hallway/parking lot that were intoxicated. We did not feel safe at all there. We left.

This hotel features friendly staff who were accommodating and offered assistance with breakfast arrangements. The hotel is severely mismanaged. The condition of the rooms is unacceptable, with issues such as broken appliances and unaddressed cleanliness. The misleading advertisement of amenities and the pervasive odor of marijuana throughout the hallways is deeply disappointing.

We liked the location, and room size, there was not a lot of noise from next door.
That some people on elevator was noisy and scary, one guy even asked us for weed, like seriously. Then Saturday evening, we missed a dinner date because there were a lot of cops outside due to issues from other guest, we felt like we were in a horrible movie, and then 5 minutes after checkout time one of the staff knocked on the door while I was using the bathroom, by time me or my husband could open the door, he opened the door and came in, I was passed, and quickly said something to him, he said something in his language and walked out, I slammed the door and gathered my items, and left. Rude people.

Perfect service and neat room in a bar fridge & microwave. Quick check-in, late check-out, very nice staff. Good location, not too far from Messiah Baptist Church. Only 20 minutes walking to the city centre.

I appreciated the accessibility features, like ramps, made movement easy. The staff were particularly attentive, helping with my needs . Good value for a budget-friendly hotel.
Improved cleanliness would enhance the overall experience.

We checked out the St James Theatre and played some sports at Elmwood Park. The beds were comfy, and it was a good spot to crash before adventures. Just a heads-up, the breakfast situation wasn't as advertised, so plan ahead if you want to grab a bite!
